  Picture perfect location. Clean and spacious rooms. We had the most restful nights sleep after a $4 steak in the hotel restaurant. The staff are super friendly and helpful throughout. Sitting by the water was lovely.

  Hotel is in dire need of a renovation. From the shingles to the carpet, and everything in between - the place just feels dated. There's a way to capture the classic feel of a building with history dating back to the 1800's while still feeling upkept, but the Gananoque Inn misses the mark.
  
  Reception during check-in and check-out also needs improvement. For an establishment that proudly states they're often completely booked, I would imagine the front desk would have gotten better at basic customer service.
  
  The breakfast buffet was enjoyable and the waitress was very kind, prompt and courteous. If she were given the opportunity to run the front desk, the overall experience would have been much better.

  called there today inquiring about their spa services as I have a 200 gift certificate. The woman I spoke to seemed busy and trying to get me off the phone quickly. I said I wanted to see reservations for Friday she said both spa employees were out and to call tomorrow. I asked if I could use my gift certificate for other uses at the INN and she said I think so but did not elaborate at all. Poor customer service!

  My husband and I spent new years here at the Gananoque inn & spa and we couldn't be happier. The friendly staff were more then welcoming including but not limited to Suzanne and Spencer!! The fine dining was divine, and extremely clean and orderly. Our room was comfortable and stunning with the old stone fire place, king size bed, and jacuzzi!!! What's better then having all those wonderful spoiling accommodations??? Oh right... Casino gift cards provided to us, the fine wine, the evening dance and spectacular view. We will definitely be coming back.

  The rooms are nice, especially the strip of rooms not part of the actual hotel. Close to the waterfront for fishing or relaxing. Gananoque is a beautiful town so walking around is enjoyable as well.
